  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 ounces noodles (such as rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Scallions, chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the noodles: Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the ground beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until it is browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
